This week was good. We were kind of everywhere, so here's a recap:
- Tuesday- woke up at 4am to get to Campinas by 9 for zone conference (our president broke his foot playing badminton so he couldn't really travel much).
- Wednesday- was a pretty normal day. My companion had to take care of some things at the bank so that took most of our morning.
- Thursday- we had divisions with the district leaders, Elder Batista and Elder Bello, which was cool because I stayed with Batista who, believe it or not, is more of a Dragon Ball Z fan than I am
- Friday- was a normal day; same old work.
- Saturday- we went and painted a member's daycare, which was fun and then we had a festival at the church called Esta Julina, which was great because members brought a ton of friends for us to meet.
- Sunday- church was great and after lunch we went and talked to Barbara (I will explain more after this).
Now, to talk about our most promising investigator, Barbara. As you know, we have been teaching her for three weeks now and she is loving it but has not been sure if she should be baptized. So we told her this week at church she would receive an answer and she did! One after another for almost all the questions and thoughts in her head. When we went and visited her after, she explained that everything she was thinking about was addressed and that she was still trying to sort it all out. But we talked, gave her a mock interview and explained everything.
She wants to be baptized. She has a testimony. She knows it's true, and she wants to follow it, but she still isn't sure. If you could please keep her in your prayers, that would be great. We will be going back there on Wednesday and we hope we can mark a date for this Saturday, so PLEASE keep her in your prayers.
Personally, I am fine; gaining weight and muscle, so no real problems.
It is good to hear how your weeks are going hope you continue to have a great time and have fun at the great DL (Disneyland) for me.
